Xavier Martin is born March 23, 1961 in Le Creusot, in the department of Saône-et-Loire, in France. He suffers of the Down’s syndrome. For this he goes once a year to the Institut Jérôme Lejeune, in Paris.

He is presently working at the CAT (Centre d’Aide par le Travail) in Le Creusot where he is doing packaging in a “protected workshop”.

He discovered painting about ten years ago with a private teacher in Le Creusot.

He is living with his mother and has five brothers and sisters.
