She is a founding member and President of ASsociation TRavail Groupal thérapeutique et social, founding member and President of Simposietto, founding member of Geneva India Learning Disability Association (GILDA), founding member and Vice President of Society for Human-Animal Relationship Research and Education (SHARRE), member of the Foundation Board of the FRH, Member of the Foundation Board of ASA (Association d'aide aux personnes avec un handicap mental).

Abbas MOALLEM, Chief Editor

Dr. Abbas Moallem is a human factors and ergonomics expert and an adjunct professor at San Jose State University and Santa Clara University in California USA.

Abbas has over 20 years of experience in the field of human factors and ergonomics. He has consulted hundreds of institutions for disabled people in Europe and Canada. He has authored several innovative methodologies for the evaluation, orientation and management of human resources in institutions and enterprises for people with intellectual disabilities. Dr. Moallem holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Ergonomics from the University of Paris (Paris XIII) and is the founder of the European Journal on Mental Disability and is on the editorial board of several professional publications.

Erika N. Lorincz achieved her PhD in Neurosciences at Paris . After her PhD to 2003, her interest in psychology led her over the Channel to the School of Psychology - St Andrews University, where she was awarded several grants. During her stay in the UK, she also held a position at the Department of Physiology - Oxford University. Since 2004, she has moved to Switzerland, where she worked at the University Hospitals Geneva. In 2010 she joined the Psychiatric Units of Mental Development. Since 2012 she participate to a research projet on Quality of Life for Persons with severe to profound Intellectual Disability.

T. Saraswathi Devi, 1944-2018

The Andhra University has awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to Smt. T. Saraswathi Devi for her research on Validation and Application of Aberrant Behaviour Assessment Checklist in Telugu Language and Studies on Interventions at Lebenshilfe Special School for the mentally handicapped founded by her in 1980.

She worked for the development of mentally challenged people for the last 34 years. Mrs. Saraswathi Devi collaborated with the division of mental health and psychiatry of the University Hospitals of Geneva, Switzerland.

Claire FOUASSIER, Editor, Deputy Director of the Management board

A nurse specialised in psychiatry, she was a training officer at the University Hospitals of Geneva until her retirement in 2018.

She is a founding member of the ASsociation pour le TRAvail Groupal et social - ASTRAG, of Simposietto and of the Société de Psychanalyse Multidisciplinaire SIPsyM.

She continues to train with SEVE, an association working for the development of life skills for children and adolescents, using methods based on the philosophy and practice of attention. Since 2018, she has been running philosophy workshops for young primary school pupils.

She has been practising Kyudo for many years
